VASCM: New AVA Map on the VASCM Website

The Viticulture Assn. has acquired the rights to post to our website a 
digital version of a map from VinMaps showing the boundaries of the 
Santa Cruz Mountains AVA. It is now up on the VASCM website 
<http://www.vascm.org>, so check it out.

You can find a map icon at the upper right corner of any page of the 
site at www.vascm.org. Click on this icon and the map will load. Then 
click anywhere on the map and you can drill into a high resolution 
supersize image of the map.

We hope that this map showing the scope of our AVA and boundaries will 
serve as the start to a mapping project with overlays for vineyard 
locations, soil, temps, harvest and other data that we can collect and add.

Please be aware that this map is copyrighted by VinMaps. VinMaps sells a 
version of this map with wineries added, which can also be updated.

Please let me know if you are interested in a printed version of this 
map. VinMaps will print this on heavy stock and offers a quantity 
discount (or we can investigate printing rights to print ourselves). It 
would make a great poster. It would be worth doing if we get enough 
interest. At 22" x 34", the normal retail price is $60 but can be 
reduced by 30% with a quantity discount.
