VASCM: LOOKING FOR TALENTED WINEMAKER

Here is the deal: you get to live for free in a beautiful 600 sqf apartment, part of a small private winery in Saratoga, in turn for providing input to my wine-making and taking care of a dog and a cat when we are out of town (approx 20% of the year). 

Background. We planted almost an acre of cab in 1997 and I take care of the vineyard without help. It took me 10 years to learn how to grow grapes which we sold to Clos Tita till 2007. Then  we decided to build a fully integrated winery (from destemmer through bottle labeling) with an attached apartment. In 2008 Aran Healy joined us from Beauregard to help me learn how to make wine. We produced 3 great vintages and now Aran decided to move on to San Francisco where he runs his wine making operation www.carlottawines.com, and his wine retail shop www.rubywinesf.com . Thus I need somebody to step into Aran's shoes starting as early as this July.

What I am looking for: a young winemaker (single or married without kids - due to size of apartment) who has at least 3 years experience as assistant winemaker in a high quality winery, with a full time job  in the vicinity of Saratoga. He/she needs to bring new ideas and take me to the next level in wine making. He/she loves animals and is reliable to take our pets into their care when we travel.
