Subject: Vineyard Management Impacts on Wine: A few seats left

Take a look at this program! We have about 15-18 seats left for one of our
best Wine Flavor 101 seminars yet. It includes: 1) a discussion on how to
get the biggest bang for your vineyard dollar by Nick Dokoozlian, the first
time he's presented it to the public in California. If you own a vineyard
and sell to a winery, you really don't want to miss these tips from the
expert on cultural practices; 2) a leaf-pull trial and tasting on Sauvignon
blanc managed cooperatively between Trinchero Estates and UCD V&E; 3) the
first-ever public tasting of 8 of the Heritage

9> Zinfandel clones, from our research vineyard in Oakville, led by Jim
Wolpert; 4) 2 lectures with tastings by Alain DeLoire, Chair of the
Department of V&E at Stellenbosch in South Africa. The first is a research
project on sugar loading in berries during maturation and the second is a
trial they conducted on using a commercial system to determine "optimal"
ripeness.
