VASCM: Muns Vineyard Syrah Harvest

We harvested our one acre of Syrah on Saturday and netted 3.5 tons,  After
overnight soak, we measured:

25.3 Brix
3.47  pH
0.79 TA

Yield was a bit low, but "huge" compared to what many of our vineyards are
doing this year.  One possible explanation is that our Syrah was about two
weeks behind our Pinot Noir at bloom, so it may not have suffered as much
shatter from the June rains, although there were still a number of shatter
clusters.

I guess we can say, "There's always next year and it will likely be
different!"
