VASCM: [santacruzmountains] SCM/CC appellations

I wonder why no one - including Ridge Vineyards - ever mentions that  
the Ridge Vineyards red, from the SCM AVA, won the 1976 French/ 
California blind wine taste test and repeated the same result, with a  
now 30 year older bottle, in '06? The top wine in world is from the  
SCM AVA!  We are not CC we are SCM!
