VASCM: seed drill for cover crop: beg, borrow, rent, co-op buy?

Digging some soil samples gave me a taste of what my vineyard roots have to
cope with; getting a deep rooted cover crop is a priority for this winter.
I stand advised that it would be efficient to have a seeder to do this,
rather than forking out for some rather expensive birdseed or unnecessarily
disturbing the soil.
Can anyone suggest where to rent or hire one? Or does anyone have one they
might be willing to loan for a price? Or even . . . are there others out
there who might be interested in coop purchase of this and other equipment
that a vintner needs once in awhile but, if on a budget, finds it hard to
justify owning.
Thanks,
