VASCM: Los Gatos History Museum Seeking Vineyard/Winery Memorabilia for History Exhibit

The Forbes Mill History Museum in Los Gatos is seeking memorabilia and 
photos representing the history of local vineyards and wineries (in the 
Santa Cruz Mts. and Santa Clara Valley).  This is for an exhibit this 
summer about the local wine industry.  If you have something you can 
loan to the Museum, please contact the Museum's director, Elke Grove, at 
408-395-7386, or the curator, Laura Dunkin-Hubby at 650- 814-1947.  Or 
you can let me (Mary Lindsay) know and I will inform the curator.

The Museum will have a preview in time for Vintners Festival June 13-14, 
with the grand opening of the exhibit scheduled for July 19.

Read more about this exhibit in the newsletter.  And if you have 
something that can be displayed, please let the Museum know.  Items 
could include old labels, bottles, photos, winery and vineyard supplies 
and equipment, newspaper clippings, signs, posters, etc.  This exhibit 
can be an excellent one and worthy of our impressive history if we help 
make it so.
