AppellationAmerica.com has just posted to its website an evaluation of 
Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnays as part of its Best of Appellation 
program. Check it out at

.  The evaluation explores the distinct flavor profiles that 
characterize our major sub-regions:  Skyline, the Saratoga Foothills, 
the Summit Road area, and Corralitos/Pleasant Valley.  Interesting!  The 
VASCM, through Prudy Foxx and Mary Lindsay, has been working with 
Appellation America on this, as well as Laura Ness, 
AppellationAmerica.com's local correspondent.

We are now in the process of getting in appellation Pinot Noirs for the 
next SC Mts. evaluation, and Cabernet Sauvignon will follow later in the 
year.
