VASCM: Very early harvest Chardonnay wanted

OK, this one is pretty weird, but if you don't ask.....

Osocalis Distillery located out of Soquel is doing Cognac style Alambic 
brandies. We would be interested in Chardonnay from the Santa Cruz 
Mountains for distilling. We would need it between 16 and 19 percent 
sugar as acidity is very important in brandy production and we can't use 
high sugar fruit.

The hard part is that we would need a minimum of 5 tons and could only 
afford to pay $800 per ton. Basically about 8 barrels of wine becomes 
one barrel of brandy so the price has to be low. I realize this is a 
long shot, but if anyone has too much Chardonnay they don't know what to 
do with, or even if you happen to like brandy and want to work some kind 
of a trade, then please contact me. I doubt there are other varieties in 
significant supply at that price but email me if you have something else 
you might want us to consider too.
