Hi,

Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard is now running a successful Wine Club
program where I need to source some small lots of interesting grapes.
I'm looking for things in the one to two ton range from the Santa Cruz
Mountains. I'm am interested in good quality lots of more common
varieties, but most interested in lesser-known varieties, or at least,
less commonly grown varieties in this area. I would consider just about
anything except Chardonnay or Merlot.

If someone out there is feeling adventurous I would really love to see
some Tempranillo planted in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I have been
selling a lot of Tempranillo, and for reasons I won't bore you with
here, I believe it could be grown in the relative coolness of these
mountains and make an outstanding wine. I'd consider signing a long-term
contract with someone interested in planting even a little bit of
Tempranillo in the appellation.

While I'm at it, I would very interested in contracts for any of the
following grown in the appellation:
Mourvedre (Mataro)
Grenache
Chenin Blanc
Petite Sirah
Cinsault
Petite Verdot
Graciano
Touriga Nacional

Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard had our 30th harvest year in 2005 and we
are committed to long-term relationships with growers in the appellation.

Regards, - Jeff
