If you are looking for yeast advice, the folks at The Wine Lab in Napa
(800)224-9463 and Scott Labs in Petaluma (707)765-6666 are very
knowledgeable. For stainless steel tankage, pumps, etc. Napa
Fermentation Supply is a good bet (707)255-6372. For day-to-day stuff
like plastic tanks, sulfite, acids, tubing and equipment rentals,
Fermentation Frenzy in Los Altos, and Fermentation Settlement in
Campbell are well stocked. Our local shop (Santa Cruz) is Seven Bridges
Cooperative (831) 454-9665 and has most of the basics (corks, stoppers,
chemicals).

Cheers,
DAVE

Subject: VASCM: winemaking supplies

Can anyone suggest places to purchase winemaking supplies for a novice?
We will make our first small batch of Pinot Noir this year. We need
suggestions of what yeast to use too.

Sincerely,
D. Kelly
