Conditions between MN and FL varied on Saturday, starting off weak and
building in strength during the first 6 hours. I checked 15m
periodically and only managed 2 QSOs in the third hour. Basically there
was no propagation on that band for me. During the 7th hour there was an
exodus of stations to 40m. At this end of the path, signals were barely
perceptible with fades into oblivion! I ended up taking a break and
didn't log a single station during hour 8. During hour 9 I eked out a
half dozen QSOs on 20m and then 40m began to pick up, furnishing 15 more
QSOs. The final hour provided 32 QSOs, all on 40m. All my activity was S&P.

234 Total QSOs
127 Mobile QSOs

187 CW QSOs
47 SSB QSOs

40m = 41 Qs
20m = 180 Qs
15m = 2 Qs

I have the K4KG/m team in the log 26 times, that number being boosted
because of their agility to jump between CW and SSB without missing a
beat! This is my first season with a Kenwood TS-990S and I can now QSY
between modes quickly too. Other 10+ mobiles are N4TO-14, K4OJ-13,
K1XX-12, K8MR-11, N4FP-11, and NO5W-10.

Brevard was the most popular county and it appears 13 times in my log. I
need to fill 7 counties if I want to sweep on CW. They are all in the
northern part of the state: FRA, GUL, HAM, LIB OKA, SEM, and WAL. I have
the Sunday plan printed out and will see whether there is any path
tomorrow, especially with the start being 4 hours earlier.

N1MM+ claimed score stands around 38,000 points right now.
