[FQP] [FCG] FQP Mobile antennas

Does the antenna check out normally on an antenna analyzer? Can you run low power without the radio going crazy?

You might also consider, if you haven’t already done so, a common mode choke at the antenna feedpoint. That is, wrapping several turns of coax around an appropriate ferrite core. K9YC has written extensively on this. It may be more of a bandaid (sorry, bad pun) than the real fix, but it might get you the few db edge needed to make the radio happy.
