Thanks for the QSO's Chris. I sure missed being on the road (with K4BAI) for
FQP this year. Tough going here since it's mostly a single band 40 meter
contest from here in GA. It's painful listening to the pileups on mobiles on
20 CW and not hearing them. It was also tough on 40 meters for about the
last hour last night. All the mobiles heading towards Orange Park for the
night - N4TO , K5KG and yourself were just ESP level here but I managed to
get thru. Amazingly I am only missing 10 counties to work them all (between
CW/SSB not a sweep)

Drive safe.. Jeff KU8E

Hi All,
It was a fun day for Lili and me; pretty grueling but worth it!
It seemed cdx and activity were not as good as I had hoped. 20 was 'ok', 15
dead for the little times I tried it. 40 was ok after some antenna
tweaking.

I am definitely learning some strategy lessons (mostly the hard way) but all
in all it was much fun.

Hoping for better prop tomorrow- would very much appreciate 'honest' signal
comparisons to other rovers as I have lots of tweaking still to do on my
mobile set up.

CU in the morning!

vy 73,
Chris, NX4N (in Jax for the night)
