To whom ever handles the web site for FQP, please be advised that we are unable to print out the individual mobile listed by counties. We can only print the first 7 pages with all calls listed by county, but it does not print off the individual mobile listings. Can some fix that ????

  Thanks W8MJ

Note to all FQP Participants,

Since this situation is obviously becoming sinister, and in order to protect
Amateur Radio Contest Assets, the K4KG/m team has commissioned a certain
amateur radio operator who is also a Florida County Sheriff to run lead for the
K4KG/m team throughout their entire 20 hour run on Saturday and Sunday. In
order to do this, Florida Governor, Jeb Bush issued a special FQP Amateur
Radio Proclimation giving this Florida County Sheriff the authority, over and
above other FHP Officers, to provide a State Police Escort in all Florida
counties to this Most Important FQP Team. Under no circumstances, will an FHP
Officer be able to intervene on this escort.

A press release will be forthcoming from the Governor's office advising all
Citizens of the Good State of Florida to observe a moment of silence and
waive something bright orange in color when they observe the Florida County
Sheriff and the K4KG/m team transiting their county. It is expected that Citizens
in at least 45 counties of the Good State of Florida will be witness to this
event!

Regards,

The K4KG/m Team

Anyone have the FB State of FL DOT web site URL handy that shows the current
construction projects? My personal laptop bit the dust and along with it went
my Favorites...

Tally Man,

Tnx for asking the mobiles to report in the counties they ran on Saturday.

Now, pse pse pse, ask the out-of-staters to post the counties they still need as of close of biz on Saturday night. Also, can you pse tally up the needed counties so when we QRT at 10pm Saturday, we can easily get that info so we can replan our Sunday routes as necessary.

Tnx for the help.

VE7ZO has arrived in Boca, and we are now secretively mixing the elixers and coming up with our last minute schemes and arming the cardboard projectiles!

Hello

I arrived in FLL yesterday with no problems. My suitcase and antenna container
even made it! Thank you US Airways. Now to get ready for tomorrow.

I won't be able to check email on Saturday night/Sunday morning so someone
will have to contact me about rare counties via radio. I'll try to get
on 40 CW 10 minutes before the contest starts on Sunday.

It seems as thought I will join the mobile ranks at the last minute. XYL
tells me today that we have to be in St. Pete for a prom and stay over
Friday and then on to Maitland for a birthday party on Saturday and then an
extended basketball tournament in the Tampa area through the weekend.
I've cobbled together a mobile rig with my Kenwood TS-570SG/AT-300 tuner and
9' whip on the top of the Escalade and plan on wandering up to Pinellas
and across to Seminole and back south to Sarasota on Saturday. I do plan
to be on from Sarasota from the home station for part of Sunday.

I plan on stopping on the county lines where possible and how do we log
these Q's? A single log with e.g. ORG/SEM or two separate entries? My
first thought is to make a single log entry and expand it after the contest
in the interest of time. How about it mobilers? How do you log these?

Thanks for the feedback, all.

I should have concluded that the "KISS" rule would be the best option here.

I'll run each county at a time. The reason I asked is that the birthday
party we are attending is virtually on the Seminole/Orange county line.
