The Boring ARC is proud to announce a second ISS QSO will occur this
summer.

Confirmation just came in that the QSO will take place on June 15th -
during the Kid's Day cont... errr - operating event. The contacts
will take advantage of the new ISS antenna system, which allows for
contacts on 50, 144, 222 and 432 MHz. Contacts will be made on each
of the bands - using the new RapidQSY technique developed by Sprint
Champion, Jeff "QSY" Steinwalker.

While there could be some changes to the ISS's orbit, QSOs are expected
to take place from the following grid squares:

CP00-CP99, CQ00-CQ99, CO00-CO99 and most of CN. These 5,192 grid squares
times the four bands might give a modest boost the the K7RAT effort in
the June VHF Con... errr, Kid's Day Operating Event. The chief
operator will be Ber.. I mean Betty, who is a 4th grader (or at least,
never made it to fifth grade). There will be 6,000 grade school kids
all lined up to ask their question. Having 6000 gives us some spares.
To make things simple, they will all ask the same question: "What's your
grid now?".

We hope to have national TV converage for this event once again.

PS: No, they can't QSY to 1296 Boug.
