[ARDF] Fwd: USA ARDF Championships in California June 13-17

Plans are coming together for the next USA ARDF Championships, which will be June 13-17 in the forests near Truckee, California at 6400 feet elevation.  Truckee is about nine miles northwest of the north shore of Lake Tahoe and a 33-mile Interstate drive from Reno, Nevada.

Events will include classic two-meter and eighty-meter competitions plus sprints and foxoring on excellent maps of Bay Area Orienteering Club.  Bob Cooley KF6VSE will be course designer.  Mark the dates and watch for more details in the Homing In Web site.

This year's World Championships are September 2-8 in Korea at a location that is also being used for the 2018 Winter Olympics.  The competitor package cost is US$650, with no early payment discount announced.  Web site is http://www.ardf2018.kr.  Final Team USA selection will take place soon after the USA championships in June.
