It appears to be written by three guys in a garage:

You will need an iPhone 3Gs to use that application, and obviously it
requires Google maps and GPS. So, despite the assertion that it is created
for ARDF, it is only for RDF, or non-regulation ARDF.
BTW - I've got an app working as a software defined radio now. It isn't
ready for alpha testing yet, but it definitely proves that the iPhone and
iPod Touch are capable of performing the computer side of a software defined
radio. I hope to make it into a free app, and eventually to adapt it for
ARDF. Anyone interested in being an alpha tester (someone with an iPhone
preferably) please contact me.
