The homing beacon should be at least 200 kHz from the hunt transmitters 
to accommodate some of the less selective European ARDF receivers.

According to

145.565 is simplex, 145.02 is packet.  If there's a local uncoordinated 
repeater close to 145.565, perhaps another frequency in the simplex band 
between 145.5 and 145.8 could be used for the homing beacon.
