I agree with using a domain.  The Yahoo group may have worked for some but I did not get a single message off Yahoo groups since my e-mail service blocked them.

For 2007 it seems there wasn't really an "official" USA ARDF Champs web
site, or any web site, with full event details until a few weeks before the
event. I hope in 2008 there will be an event web site early. I'll be glad to
help with it any way I can.

I think the domain is useful. At least I found it so in 2006.
