Well, you can just draw in course setting mode as well, without
actually defining a course. Up at the top right where the symbols are,
scroll all the way down in that tiny window until you see the solid
purple (red, pink, whatever) line. Then use the straight line mode for
your triangle and the circle mode to draw your circles.

If you set your scale to be "real world mode" under options, select
the circle tool, and click once at the center, it will pop up a window
asking for the radius - an easy way to get any radius circle...
